Lately I have been so grateful to have such an amazing town, The’ve helped me a ton since i first brought my title around. I was a bit worried that i wouldnt be able to get my name out there but my first event i did it! My main sponsor is Wadena Co-op, all together they helped me raise approximately $800 which was such a success for one day! I promote there name proudly. My second sponsor is Wadena Drugs, They helped me alot with a $200 cheque, Than Fishing Lake High School Handed me a $200 Cheque as well. Which was so generous 🙂 I’m happy i have 400 for Free the children, Then there’s Touchwood Child & family services. I Have not recieved there cheque yet, but i know it will be a good one. All my sponsors i have collected now I am so very proud of and i know they are very proud of me as well. Hopefully i could pick up a couple more before the time comes! Happy Blogging!

Just recently my sponsor the Wadena co-op hosted a bbq. They supplied me with the bbq, the hotdogs, burgers and condiments. I began at 11, since it was a cold and windy day i thought i wouldn’t recieve much costumers, I had only 3 helpers but that did the job! Sure enough people would go into the co-op and on there way out would stop and grab a burger or two. The plan was to end at 1 but it took us till 1:30 because of more people wanting morre bbq! I am so thankful to have the support of the Wadena Co-op as well as the Wadena Drug store 🙂 They both ended up handing me 4 hundred dollars towards Free the Children. It was such a spectacular day!

Since my platform is to fight against portraying media images, I decided to go to our local elementary school and speak to the young grades 1,2, 3 and 4.. I told them about my title and what i wanted to do with it, I really wanted to get the young kids a chance at making a difference to. I explained the poverty levels our world has, and to be thankful for everything they had. I encouraged the young students to start thinking about what they wanted to be when they grew up and how they wanted to make a difference. Alot of them were so happy and joyful, with very clever answers and questions. I than offered to help paint the railings a new color, it was so fun, especially when they wanted to get goofy and finger paint some of the recycling boxes. I definitely felt a great joy when the young kids surrounded me with laughter and smiles. I am sure my message and advice for the younger  was well listened to  🙂

Hey everyone! My name is Natahni Paquachan and I am 15 years old, i was and raised on a farm with loving dear grandparents. They taught me to be the perfectionist i am today, from chores to attending my sports events such as badminton, volleyball, basketball and cross country To singing and dancing passionately through out the years. and excelling in school as well as, meeting people from all over the country and traveling.

I love performing and making people laugh.and giving someone a sense of belonging. I have succeeded greatly in all sports, from maintaining a no-loss win with Cross country for 3 years. to getting most valuable player in others. Music and being with animals is part of me ,it gives me a sense of joy and confidence to take the world. and it’s dis advantages. I am very positive, ambitious with a big heart in the things i do and the impression i want to make. I want to inspire and be the best role model I can be to my younger sisters and brothers as well as friends and people around my community!

My platform is to stop portraying beauty and body images in the media, alot of ladies see these woman in magazine articles urging them to loose weight to have the perfect body and perfect beauty to have perfect marriages, loving children and a rewarding career, and this is false, i believe and put my hands down on this, any woman or any man can have all those advantages without being pressured to be ”perfect”. so my word is about being truly yourself, going out there and not giving 2 sense of what people think about you, big body or small body. you can still make a   difference 🙂

My first post is sponsored by Toronto roof company.

I am super excited about Nationals in Toronto and will blog about how i will  be   preparing everything eventful and inspiring.
xoxo Miss Teen Central Saskatchewan-World 2012.
